The Northern Route
We analyzed three possible routes for this trip, carefully identifying distance issues and home team schedules. This was particularly challenging in cities with two teams. We eventually landed on what we called “The Northern Route”, which started in San Francisco and followed a generally clockwise tour of the country to Los Angeles. We set a schedule and tried to give ourselves a window so we could change plans on the fly and make up time if we had any issues on the road. Thanks to the planning efforts of Jon Wedhoff, Mike, Steve, Tim and a lot of beer, we were able to pull it off.
